Start using the Quick Change countersink system, and you’ll wish your drill bits were quick change too. With these innovative adapters, they will be. A spring steel collet in each adapter securely grips the bit when the nut is tightened. That means you can use a range of drill sizes in each adapter - important if you use letter, number, or metric series drill bits. Most important, if you happen to break a bit (it can happen) just loosen the collet, insert the good half, and continue working! Individually, the adapters do not include the drill bits - purchase those separately. Set of 7, includes standard point, High Speed steel drill bits, sizes 1/16", 3/32", 1/8", 5/32", 3/16", 7/32", and 1/4". Made in the USA.

Comments about Snappy 7pc Bit Set-Hex Shank:
Small drill bits dull easily. Snappy adapters allow use of inexpensive bits as replacements.

I had to really tightet the drills to the adapter. They still work well but required an inordinate amount of torque.
can't do without 'em

About Me Professional
I install equipment in commercial food prep and restroom areas on many different wall materials. I can have a quick change bit to match any materials from dry wall to masonry including stainless steel and tile. When the bit wears out (often) I can just exchange for a new one.
A favorite for years

I've used these drill adapters for years and have just purchased another set for my tool cart on the job. Of course, there isn't a full range of drill sizes but many common needs can be met with this set and there's nothing fancy about how the adapter is held in the driver or how the bit is held in the adapter - simple collet and because the bit is replaceable you can easily replace a dull, broken or cheap bit (brad point bits might be nice). These adapters are just plain convenient and simple. You'll be ready to drill a hole in an instant.

I broke the 1/16 bit in my other set and had to throw it away. I bought these so I could replace the bits with any brand or type (twist or brad point) that I want.
