#2 Pozi-drive, Hand Driver

Most Euro Style hardware is designed for installation using a Pozi-Drive screw driver. While a Phillips bit will work, using a genuine Pozi-drive bit will greatly improve fastener performance. Both Phillips and Pozi-drive bits have four “wings” to match the “cross” of their respective recesses, but Pozi Drive “wings” are parallel and resist cam out much like our square drive. The “wings” of a Phillips bit are tapered and tend to slip. Pozi drive screws can be easily identified by the 4 extra hash marks between the “cross”.
