Occasionally, someone steps back and rethinks a problem - in this case, the need to increase the holding power of mag-bit holders. Fortunately the result is often a dramatic improvement in performance. Most mag-bit holders use a single magnet located within the body to magnetize the driver bit. In the past, the only way to increase screw holding power was to increase the size of this magnet. In this “Mag-Mag Bit Holder”, a second “ring” magnet (shown in red) surrounding the driver bit pulls the screw head tight against the face, essentially locking the screw in position. An adjustable collar threads onto the holder body for the precise positioning of the second magnet and proper engagement of the driver bit. Designed to fit flat head screws. Designed for use with any 1/4” hex shank 1" long “insert” style bits - Phillips, Square, Security, or even 6-Lobe. Made in Germany.
