You don’t really need a heavy duty clamp to hold a chop saw to your saw stand; you don’t really need a heavy duty clamp to hold a cut-off stop to the fence. In fact, you don’t need a heavy duty clamp for lots of shop jobs. That’s the attraction of Bessey’s Mighty Mini series. They are less robust than the standard TG series clamps (they can still apply 330 pounds of clamping pressure!), but they also weigh less, and are easier to slip into a tight spot. Throat measures 2-3/8". Made in Germany.

Great Little Clamps, Still Made in Germa
from Albany, NY
I bought these clamps for the purpose of holding small glue blocks in place while the glue dries.I used to use spring clamps, which worked ok, but sometimes, I felt I didn't get the good clamping pressure I desired (the blocks are somewhat load bearing) for a solid bond. When I got these I fell in love. The size is perfect for my needs and they provide plenty of pressure; more than enough for what I need them to do.The size to power ratio on these little guys is amazing.Build quality is very high too. Nothing on the clamp feels like it will fall apart or break.Equally impressive is that these clamps are still made in Germany.I bought 24 from mcfeely's since they're the best deal with the quantity discount and I'll be buying another 24 after the holidays.
Handiest clamps in my shop

I bought one 4" clamp and then wound up buying five more. I use them all the time. I bought the 6" because there are times when the 4" is just an inch or so too short. I knocked off one star because I wish the grips were a little larger in diameter or flat sided for a better grip.

I use these for glue ups of small projects and holding a part to the bench that may need to be trimmed by hand.
