Designed for use in the automatic doweling machines popularly used in European Cabinet assembly, this design has proven to be an improve-ment over the old spiral groove pins. The multiple straight grooves allow excess glue to escape more easily, resulting in more consistent assembly. Made in USA from White Birch.

        Comments about 7/16'' x 2'' Multi Groove Dowel Pin:

        A nice inbetween size for chair leg joints where 3/8" dowel is on the weak side, but 1/2" holes compromise the leg integrity. At the chair seat level where dowels from the front or back are competing with the sides in the same limited chair leg area, the 7/16" dowels are great.

        Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
