These are a great bargain if you need a quantity of dowel pins. They are strong and hold well. There were some minor inconsistencies in size, however, but these were a small minority of the pieces we used. Way less expensive than big box store.

i make nightlight lighthouses and use the dowells for rails around the outside. i am retired and this is a hobby but i have made over 1000 and i use 16 rails for each lighthouse and i have always bought the dowell rods, cut them and drilled a 1/8 hole to put a nylon rope through so this saves a lot of money and time so it works great for me. i'm so glad i found your company

I used these dowel pins for chair assembly. The straight grooves allow glue to escape from the drilled hole and prevent hydraulic pressure from ejecting the dowel pin. The sizing was consistent and the material is birch not Ramin like you might find at a hardware store.
