When you are cutting through abrasive material, such as fiber cement siding, a regular Bi-Metal hole saw just doesn’t cut it! Bi-Metal teeth wear out way too fast. Carbide is extremely hard and will stand up to cutting those tough materials as well as particleboard, formica, asbestos board, aluminum, steel, plastic, and nail-free wood. The saws have 3 teeth per inch and a cutting depth of 1-1/2". Saws have 5/8"-18 threaded arbor hole. Made in USA.
