A solid blade. I purchased it as a replacement for the contractor's saw that I use every day. Rips well although best suited for stock less than one inch thick. Crosscuts nicely, only a very slight fuzz on the bottom of veneered ply.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
