Lock miter router bits are unique in that simply by running one piece of stock face up, and the other on edge, an exceptionally strong and self aligning miter joint can be made. Tip: once you get the bit set-up for a tight joint, save a scrap cut to speed set-up the next time the bit is used! Should only be used in a router table. For 1/2" to 1" thick stock.
