Get accurate measurements without a tape measure
Leica provides precise, quality measuring and leveling instruments for professionals who need to keep their costs down with accurate estimates for materials.
Leica D3 Range FinderThe Leica D3 laser range finder has some pretty unique features – like sensing the lighting conditions and automatically turning on the display and keypad illumination. It has a tilt sensor and measures angles up to 45º at the touch of a button with accuracy of ± 0.3º. A flip out end-piece provides reliable measurements from edges or out of a corner. Horizontal distances can be measured even if there are nearby obstructions. The Pythagorean function allows for measuring indirect height and width measurements at inaccessible positions. It also has a stake-out function using equal or two different distances. Auto shut-off of the laser occurs after 3 minutes of non-use. The entire unit shuts off after 6 minutes of non-use. The tool measures up to 328 feet with accuracy of ± 1/16" (1.5 mm). For indoor use. Supplied AA batteries will provide 5,000 calculations. Made in Austria.
Leica L2 Laser LevelThe L2 is a self-leveling unit. Minor angle misalignments of ± 4º are compensated by the unit. If you are off by more than that, the unit will not give you a reading, eliminating costly errors from being made. Levelling accuracy is ± 1.0 mm @ 5 m while the inclination accuracy range is 4º ± 0.5. The horizontal accuracy is ± 1 mm @ 5 m while the vertical accuracy ± 0.75 mm @ 3 m.
The laser lines are highly visible, so you don’t need to mark the wall or floor you are working on. The laser will project both horizontally as well as vertically so you can mark an accurate 90º angle. The unit runs on three AA supplied batteries. For indoor and outdoor use. Made in Austria.
