Get accurate measurements without a tape measure
Leica provides precise, quality measuring and leveling instruments for professionals who need to keep their costs down with accurate estimates for materials.
Leica D2 Range FinderThe Leica range finders increase the accuracy of your measurements for more detailed refined quotes and less waste on material ordered for a job. The D2 stores the last ten measurements in its memory. Shortcut keys for frequently used measurements like addition, subtraction, area, and volume calculations. Measure indirect height and width measurements with the Pythagorean Theorem for inaccessible areas. The 3 digit illuminated LED display is readable even in the dark. The tool measures up to 197 feet (60 m) with ± 0.059" (1.5 mm) accuracy. It measures in both feet/meters and fractional and decimal measurements. Performs up to 5,000 calculations on (2) AAA batteries. To conserve batteries, the laser shuts off after 90 seconds of non-use. The entire instrument shuts off after 180 seconds (3 minutes) of non-use. The Range Finder includes a holster, batteries, hand loop, producer certificate, user’s manual, and safety instructions. For indoor use. Made in Switzerland.
Leica L2 Laser LevelThe L2 is a self-leveling unit. Minor angle misalignments of ± 4º are compensated by the unit. If you are off by more than that, the unit will not give you a reading, eliminating costly errors from being made. Levelling accuracy is ± 1.0 mm @ 5 m while the inclination accuracy range is 4º ± 0.5. The horizontal accuracy is ± 1 mm @ 5 m while the vertical accuracy ± 0.75 mm @ 3 m.
The laser lines are highly visible, so you don’t need to mark the wall or floor you are working on. The laser will project both horizontally as well as vertically so you can mark an accurate 90º angle. The unit runs on three AA supplied batteries. For indoor and outdoor use. Made in Austria.
