Craftsmen have cobbled together a variety of bench-top work holding systems over the years - maybe you have as well. Now Kreg Tool (known for their innovative pocket hole jigs) has designed one of the best we’ve ever seen! The concept is simple: They modified their locking Face Clamp so that it slides into a dovetailed keyhole machined into a heavy steel plate. To mount the clamp, route a 10” x 10” x 1/4”deep recess into your work surface and secure the steel plate with 4 screws. The bench clamp features a locking-plier type adjustable-height clamp with a 3-3/4" capacity that rotates through 360 degrees. A firm polyurethane pad helps prevent workpiece damage – pad removal allows use with the Kreg Rocket and Kreg Mini. The clamp keys into the plate, allowing easy removal and an unobstructed work surface. Perfect for speedy and accurate pocket hole assembly, you’ll also find it handy for almost all bench top clamping applications. Includes mounting screws. A 3/16" hex key (not supplied)is needed to tighten the Bench Klamp. Made in USA/China.
