Like its #1 rated big brother, the Kreg Rocket™ makes pocket hole joinery affordable and easy. The Rocket attaches to either size Kreg assembly clamp, forming an easy to use drilling guide. When finished drilling pocket holes, the jig slips off the pliers jaw pad to clamp the workpiece flat for assembly. Like the Original Kreg Jig, guide holes are spaced on 7/8" centers – perfect for face frame cabinets! Working with 1-1/2" thick materials? Attach the Rocket’s jig extender to position holes properly when drilling thick stock such as 2 x 4’s! Use an extra long brad point bit to drill the deep pocket hole required then use any of our #8 Round washer heads. It doesn’t have the extended “pilot drill” point of the standard length bit, so either drill a pilot separately, or use self drilling screws.
