Big furniture factories have been abrasively planning lumber for years! The swirly grain patterns of highly figured woods like curly maple suffer from tearout problems that are eliminated when the chips are really just sawdust. But you couldn’t use just any abrasive or you would be changing belts every other board. Alumina-Zirconia is just two steps below diamond in hardness so it really stands up to the abuse. These are only available in coarse grits and are designed specifically for maximum stock removal and abrasive life. Made in Germany.

Comments about 60g 6 x 48 Blue Planer Belt:
IT'S A BELT FOR A BELT SANDER AND DOESN'T CUT AS FAST AS I'D LIKE, COSTS TOO MUCH, DOESN'T LAST AS LONG AS I'D LIKE AND SEEMED LIKE THE BEST SELECTION FROM THE CATALOG.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
