They are easy to use, (with or without the handy “pad holder”), last longer, and don’t leave metal fragments behind like standard steel wool. Steel wool metal fragments are a real problem if you are using a water based lacquer or varnish, unless you don’t mind little rust specks in the finish of course! Non-Woven Abrasive pads are perfect for buffing out a finish, or for the all important scuff sanding between coats. Sold in 10 packs only; pads measure 6" x 9".
