Self drilling screws turned out to be such a good idea that everybody wanted them. So in addition to the popular hex drive style used so often when assembling air conditioning ductwork, they are also manufactured a special round washer head style used for attaching metal lath to steel studs. Zinc plated for mild corrosion resistance, stress relieved for strength. Phillips Recess. Made in Taiwan.

I'm converting a Cargo Trailer into an "apartment on Wheels". I installed .25 wall and ceiling panels. Panels attache to metal studs or ribs. these were just the right screws for the job. Very satisfied. Thanks!
