Priced right, more than tough enough and as precise as you demand!
Jet’s B3NCH™ line of tools carries the tag-line of, “Portable. Powerful. Precise,” for good reason but they’re missing a “P” from that bit of advertising and that’s “Priced Right." Includes smart features such as an integrated dust port and Jet’s innovative green XACTA laser. Because of its color and brilliance, the XACTA laser is easier to see in various conditions than the standard red lines you may be accustomed to using. It’s also powered by the saw’s 115 V system so you don’t have to be concerned with batteries. The XACTA laser is also protected from sawdust and other debris by a clear lens and has an auto cut-off after 20 minutes to protect it for long use. All miter saws made in China/Taiwan.
At just 35 lb., the 10" single bevel miter saw can handle wood up to 2-5/8" thick and 5-1/2" wide with the blade at 0 degrees. Even with the blade at 45-miter and 45-bevel, the saw can cut wood up to 1-1/2" thick and 3-1/2" wide. The unit also has a vertical capacity of 4" for wide pieces such as you might use for baseboard work.
The 10" miter saw comes standard with an 18-1/2" wide fence with a precision scale engraved on its face. Its usable table space is up to 4-1/2" deep and the unit also comes with a tool-free work hold-down clamp that can be positioned on either side of the blade.
