I used to think that some things were so easy to glue-up, that using these nifty clamps wasn’t worth the effort. After using them a few more times, I can’t imagine making a glue-up without them! So often it seems that there is no real good way to hold the clamp, and two pieces to be joined at one time unless you have an extra hand. Now you cannot only clamp everything up using the standard allotment of hands, you can be sure everything is nice and square as well!
These heavy-duty aluminum plate squares measure 6" x 1-1/4" x 3/16" thick, and are less likely to bend or deflect than plastic units. After forming the angle, the squares are precision milled on the clamping face to make sure that they are right on the money. Six mounting holes are provided on each square to facilitate construction of permanent jigs or fixtures. The unique “L” shaped cross section provides for clamping in two planes, providing more clamping options for glue-ups or dry-fitting. They’re ideal for cabinet, box, or drawer assembly, and may quite possibly revolutionize your woodworking. Made in USA.

Comments about Set of 4 3-D Precision Squares:
I have a set of polycarbonate (plastic) L-shaped squares from another manufacturer that are intended to help square up and clamp projects but I seldom used them because they are so clunky. They are 1 1/2" thick and difficult to clamp.I saw these and they looked like the perfect solution ... and they are. Strong, well machined, easy to clamp. And best of all, these 4, precision machined, squares are slightly less expensive than the plastic ones.
These squares insure exact corner joints

I used these to construct a two sided stained glass window frame. These squares provided the accuracy needed for tight fitting joints and proper alignment.I had to experiment with my assortment of clamps to get the right pressure and keep all parts flat and square and to avoid small movements as I had the assembly on a flat surface. Once I had the correct clamps for the squares ready, the final assembly went very well. I should of purchased a set many years ago. They will be a welcomed asset to my shop. JM

About Me Professional
Works great for holding items not only square but like a second pair of hands in the shop and photography studio. Holding pieces at right angles for assembly and mounting to the work table and clamping pieces upright for edge work. The plastic ones are not strong enough with limited clamping aria. The flanges are what makes them versatile enough for many tasks. Tolerances are great for cabinet work and rough framing.
