This knob is molded with a hex hole designed to fit hex head bolts, hex cap screws, hex nuts and lock nuts of varying size, threading, length and material. This knob also allows the user to install their own fasteners by simply pushing the nut or bolt into place.

      As advertised, it does allow you to insert a bolt or a nut but the design is too weak. The wall section around the hole is paper thin. Possibly if it were like the catalog image, it would be stronger.
