Thread Detective

Thread identifier measures nuts, bolts, & screws

  • Identify drawer full of nuts, bolts, and screws
  • Check both internal and external threads
The gauges are ABS plastice with steel zinc thread and .063" wire steel lanyard that will allow you to identify that drawer full of nuts, bolts and screws you have been meaning to organize. Whether they are SAE # 6-1/2", UNC and UNF, or Metric. Threads M4 x 0.7, M5 x 0.8, M6 x 1.0, M8 x 1.0, M8 x 1.25, M10 x 1.0, M10 x 1.25, M10 x 1.50, M12 x 1.25, M12 x 1.50, M12 x 1.75; it can be done with this thread checker with attached ruler. It is 36" long and made with .063" wire so it’s sturdy. Imported.

    I have amassed a large collection of bolts and screws that have long needed sorting. This tool does it with ease. I'd recommend it to anyone in need of a thread gauge more so than the standard metal plate type.
