Fasten Engineered Beams without Predrilling! Now you can assemble Multi-Ply Laminated Engineered Lumber such as LVL (Laminated Veneer Lumber), LSL (Laminated Strand Lumber) and PSL (Parallel Strand Lumber) easily and quickly. TrussLok screws have special winged points to create their own clearance hole, an extended unthreaded shank to prevent board jacking, are available in lengths to allow installation from one side only, and have a 3/8" Hex Head. A corrosion-resistant, anti-friction coating allows installation with either a 1/2" corded variable speed drill, 18v cordless drill, or our Makita Impact Drivers. Screw length is measured from tip to underside of head – select the longest screw that is shorter than the overall thickness of the assembled beam. Each package of fasteners includes a free hex driver bit. Made in USA.
