#2 x 1" Phillips/Square Driver Bit

"Combo" Phillips/Square recess screws install with the ease of a Square Drive screw, but the customer can maintain the product with a Phillips driver bit. Now you can improve the performance of the “Combo” screw by simply using a driver bit designed from the start to fit the recess perfectly. It’s secret is the four wings that radiate from the corners of the Square tip that forms the core. The wings mate with the Phillips portion of the screw recess, for a stiffer (less wiggly) connection between driver and bit. In fact, this new driver made it almost impossible to spin the bit in the recess unless we tried. Amazingly, these bits also have the Phillips ACR® anti-cam-out technology, making their grip on the screw even more tenacious. Of course, we did some testing to make sure this new driver bit wasn’t all hype. Believe me, it wasn’t. The bit really stayed in the recess, and after driving hundreds of screws, it was still in great shape.
