Buying throwaway rags seems pretty foolish until you try to find one when you are in the middle of a finishing project. Often, an otherwise perfectly good t-shirt gets sacrificed. These are nice soft, heavy weight knit cotton rags similar to the weight of Tee shirt material. Each box holds 10 pounds.

Comments about 10lb. Box - Cotton rags:
My usual source of rags was out of stock, so I bought these. I had to toss out about 20% of the rags because they had "magic marker" writing on them, were yellowed or were just 1"-2" strips. I use rags to wipe off stain and oils, so I want to use high quality material that won't leave a residue on the project. I'll go to my other source for my next box, even if I have to wait for delivery.
