Veritas Honing Guide & Angle Jig

Frankly, most woodworkers have neither the time nor patience to develop efficient hand sharpening skills. Maintaining a consistent honing angle is absolutely essential to the sharpening process. Veritas’ honing guide makes it easy to achieve. Simply clamp the plane iron or chisel into the guide using the one of the bevel gauge’s five standard angles. Once honing has properly established the bevel, rotate a cam on the 1-1/4" wide roller to create a secondary microbevel at one of 10 additional angles. Capacity to 2-3/8" wide irons. Includes honing guide and bevel setting gauge. Made in Canada.
