The next generation in combo bit drivers
Bosch recently introduced the next generation of Combo Bit drivers. The patented P2+R2 driver bit will run both #2 Phillips and #2 Robertson Square Drive bits without changing drivers. Made from S2M grade steel for durability, the unique tip will engage and securely drive screws with Robertson Square recess, Phillips recess or Combo recess. One bit will drive almost 2/3 of the screws you will ever drive. Available in 1” insert bit singly and in a 15 pc bit set or in a Power style bit in 1-1/2” or 2” length. Made in China.

This addresses one of the most frustrating things I run into every day - I never seem to have the right bit in my driver. I've tried to standardize on Robertson drive screws but it is not possible to get all screws in that drive type, and then there are all the screws someone else put in. With this bit I can now have the right bit already in my screwdriver 90% of the time. For Phillips head this is better than any Phillips-only bit I have used. It fits the screw really well, and it is way more durable - my guess is that they last twice as long..The only downside is that while it will drive Robertson head screws, it is not as good a fit as a real Robertson bit. It is OK for a few screws but for a project with a lot of them (like a deck) or needing some real force to drive the screw, I still put a Robertson bit in. But most of the time I leave this combo bit in and just keep working.
Good in a pinch

For me, this bit has become an attempt to save time in assembly/installation work. It grips #2 phillips screws tenaciously, but is sloppy in a #2 sq. It will drive sq recess, but don't expect the solid connection sq drive is known for. So when you need a little of both, it's the one you want.

Probably one of the best tools to have in my kit. In addition to woodworking, I do electronics and there are #2 Philips screws everywhere. This bit allows me to keep one bit in my impact driver.Okay, it isn't as sturdy as either bit separately, and will probably need to be replaced more often, but the convenience outweighs that limitation. Now to get them to do a #3, #1 and #0 bit. If the price were right ([$] each is too much, at $0.50 each I would have to get a few), I would have a full set for on the go and at home.
