Lag Screws are designed for the really big jobs–building docks, decks and wharfs. Installed properly (see the Tech Tip on this page), they have outstanding holding power, and do not need to be re-tightened frequently, as is sometimes the case with bolted connections. We offer these tough lags in either 18-8 stainless steel or hot-dip galvanized. Imported.

All 1/4 lag screws have a 7/16" hex head. See table below for thread lengths by overall length.
