This Rabbeting Bit includes seven bearings to convert it from a Flush cut trim router bit to a 1/2” deep Rabbet cut router bit in a matter of minutes. Shear cut carbide cutters lift chips away from the bit, and provide a silky smooth finish. Carbide height is 1/2” for both shank sizes. Includes bearings for flush, 1/8”, 1/4”, 5/16”, 3/8”, 7/16”, and 1/2” wide rabbets.

Good: It does the job right on the first try. I'm not very experienced with routing, so if I succeeded then the tool is really good.Bad: gripping the tool while loosening the allen wrench to swap out sizes - - seems like one false move and you'll slice your hand open. You're holding this ultra-sharp bit, and tugging really hard with the allen wrench: yikesMinor: it would be nice if it had a little storage case. In the end I just put all the teeny bits and pieces into an old jelly jar - - it seems fine.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
