I can’t tell you how often I have been glad that I used Anti-Seize when I assembled heavy-duty bolts and nuts. It helps prevent galling common to stainless fasteners, and generally allows removal of rusted nuts without any trouble. (I use it on my lawnmower blade nut at every sharpening!) Just apply a bit to the external thread, then tighten. Anti-Seize is grease-like compound containing a blend of aluminum, copper, and graphite lubricants that will not evaporate or harden in extreme temperatures. It is salt, corrosion, and moisture resistant. Made in USA.
