For those woodworkers who really want to
showcase their work, these water based dye stains are
just the ticket. They can be used as “stand alone” colors
or can be mixed with other water based wood stains for
custom colors. Color will vary depending on the type of
wood and dwell time before wiping. They dry fast, have low
odor and clean up with soap and water. Covers 150 sq. ft.
per quart. Do not buff or sand between stain coats. Top with
High Performance Top Coat.
Water Based Stains all meet the environmental GREEN guidelines set forth for Architectural, Cabinets and Furniture (EPA 40 CFR Parts 9, 59 & 63), California Wood Coatings (SCAQMD Rule
1136), Kitchen Cabinet Makers Association (ESP - Environmental Stewardship Program), and the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design). Made in USA.

I love this product, I found it at a unfinished furniture store, and I have been using it for about 2 years, on all my wood projects, from furniture to kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities.
Always a pleasure

I thought I really liked the stain. Easy to cover, but hard to put protective cover on. Tried liquid and it takes the stain right off. Using a wax to protect it, but if I wipe it down with a damp cloth, the stain is still coming off. I have done multiple surfaces in my newly remodeled bathroom and am afraid it is going to look really bad in a couple of years. I am treating it with kid gloves and holding my breath!!!!
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
