Solar powered – lighted cap (never buy a battery!)
Now you don’t need to fumble around with a flashlight in the back of cabinets. This cap has lights molded right into its brim so light is directed at whatever you are looking at! A solar-powered battery never needs to be replaced (make sure you take that into consideration when shopping for price). Approximately five hours of light are available from a full solar charge, which does take about 2 days to achieve. The good news is you can keep your batteries on ‘full’ just by wearing your hat outside or sitting it near the window. The two LED bulbs provide 25,000 milli-candles of light and the brim of the hat is waterproof to protect the light (please do not submerge the hat in water, however). A flexible brim may be shaped and the light has 5 modes – full power, high visibility strobe, regular strobe, SOS, and dim light. The black cap comes with a “one size fits all” adjustable strap and your choice of either green or white lights. FSC-8970 is the visor. Made in China.
