Cutting edgebanding and trimming the edge is really hard to do right for the small shop. I've tried many different tools, from a sharp utility knife (ended up in urgent care for a deep cut) to the much-lauded Virutex, and this does the job better than any of them. It takes a little practice but by the 3rd workpiece I was getting really clean flush cuts - much cleaner and closer than the the Virutex. I want to keep them really sharp for edgebanding, so will probably get another pair to use for general carpentry/repair use.

I can't remember how many times I could have used this flush cut feature over the years but had no idea one of these existed. I was even more impressed after receiving it that it is heavy duty and of highest quality.I have already recommended this toll to several friends.
