Comments about FastCap ProCarpenter Metric Reverse FlatBack Tape Measure:
Someone who was helping me build shelves for a walk in closet used a metric tape measure. It showed me how much more accurate I could be since I'm not great at the 5/8ths or half inch plus two lines. This just makes sense...thanks
A good tape

[...] the tape performed its duties admirably and without fault. The metal clip at the end of the tape is attached with 4 rivets, so there's zero play. (Not like lesser tape measures where the clip rattles and shifts back and forth like a drunk driver at 2:00am, making accurate measurements impossible to obtain.) The rubber shell is a nice feature in that it provides a good gripping surface. This prevents the user from inadvertently dropping this measuring masterpice. Unfortunately, gravity always perserveres and will, one day, pull the tape from your fingers, thrusting it toward the center of the Earth. It is on these days you will be thankful of the rubber armor that stands between this precision device and the deafening thud of, what would have otherwise been, asured mechanical failure. The only disparity about this item is that the back of the case lists the case width in inches, despite being a metric version of the tape. Not a big deal. My only major complaint about this product is that, despite asking nicely, it has yet to make me breakfast.
