FastCap standard tape measures have a rugged compact casing with a built in pencil sharpener and a lever action belt clip. Heavy-duty blade is 1" wide, 33% heavier than other tapes on the market, and has high contrast marking visibility and a dual locking system. The side of the case has an erasable note pad (for pencils only!). Standard English measurements. Made in China.

The rbberized coating is a plus, it's easy to find on a bench, the pencil shaprner is a must have on the job, except for the easily snapped off belt clip it is rugged.

I go through a lot of tape measures. I usually buy the inexpensive Big Box Store variety. They don't last. They bend, kink and are hard to read. This item, for about the same price is more substantial and easy to read. The belt clip is ok, but tends to jar loose when I brush up against something. Overall a great product.

This is one solidly built tape measure. It's small enough to fit in a glove box or tool belt without bulk. Yet for us with "old eyes" the tape is clear, concise, and without all the extras some tapes have - that people seldom use. 5-Star rating!
