I apply these notepad discs to all my tape measures now. You can't beat them for always having something handy to write quick measurements or draw sketches on. It beats finding a chunk of 2x or that last receipt you got from the hardware store. Plus they are durable and reusable. Just rub the pencil lead off easily with your finger or use your pencil eraser if you like. Plus, they are durable and do not come off your tape without deliberate effort. All in all, a cheap and effective addition to any carpenter's tool arsenal.
