Veritas Double Edge Flush Cutting Saw

I wish I could say that I always got good results when paring a plug with a chisel. Frankly, a face grain plug will sometimes break off beneath the surface, leaving you with an unpleasant what do I do now situation. Veritas’ Flush cutting saws make broken plugs a thing of the past. The blades are incredibly thin and flexible with 22 teeth per inch in a Japanese-style tooth pattern so they cut effortlessly. Because the teeth are set on one side only the saw will gently rise as it cuts leaving behind a plug that is slightly proud of the surface. This is easily trimmed flush with a sharp chisel - and with almost no danger of breakage since the shaving that should be produced is very thin. Saw measures 11-1/2 overall with a 4-3/8 cutting length. Double edged Right Hand / Left Hand version.
