This great pressure-sensitive, adhesive-backed edge-banding is fast, easy, and eliminates the mess associated with unglued and hot-melt backed banding. Simply cut the band to approximate length, peel the backing, and stick it in place. Burnish the banding to ensure a good bond, then trim it to size using a router, knife, or the FastEdge Trimmer. FastEdge banding uses an acrylic adhesive that increases bond strength as it cures. (Maximum strength is reached in seven days!) It is totally waterproof and withstands temperatures of -30 to 250ºF. Unfinished wood veneers may be stained and finished to match the rest of the workpiece. Made in USA.

I am happy that I finally found a source of materials and equipment that actually cares about customer service. I will continue to do business with McFeeley's.

quick & easy install but end is lifting

I bought the brushed chrome finish edgeband. I applied the edging to two pieces of 3/4" plywood that are a 29" dia. circle. It was easy to apply and trim but by the time I was done the end was already lifting up. It lost its adhesion ability somehow. Maybe from sawdust, maybe from my fingers or maybe just poor product design, I'm not sure. But I made two circles and both ends are lifting up. Luckily for my application the end joint will not be visible. I stapled them down so they wont lift up anymore.
