The EX-5500 provides 42 cfm airflow for invreased atomization of heavier coatings
Earlex is known for making HVLP sprayers that are light in weight (13 lb. for the EX-5500) but not on features. The first thing you may notice is that, because of its weight and size, you can move the sprayer to your project (and not be forced to do the opposite). It has a pro-metal gun with a non-stick coated interior for fast clean-ups and an adjustable spray (from 1" to 12") width to keep you in control. A 13 ft. hose provides plenty of movement around even the biggest projects. Needles, tips, and seals are available from 1 mm to 2.5 mm for spraying thin to thick dyes, stains, solvents, and paints. Oil and water based paints can be sprayed such as polyurethanes, lacquers, varnishes, shellacs, stains, latex, dyes, and many more. The EX-5500 includes spray gun with a quart metal paint pot that is non-stick coated inside for easier clean-up, “push and click” spray pattern changer, standard 1.5 and 2.0 mm stainless steel needles and fluid tips, and hose.
