TT style Eb-Ty hidden deck fasteners work with composite decking, pre-grooved with a wider channel such as TimberTech®, while TS Eb-Tys work with other composite decking whether solid or pre-grooved. Both styles provide 3/16” board spacing that accommodates for seasonal expansion and contraction. Each Eb-Ty pack is supplied with 175 clips and 175 #7 x 2-1/2” stainless steel screws – enough to complete 100 square feet of decking (assuming 6” boards spaced 16” on center).
Use #1 Square Driver bits: HHS-0120 #1 x 2" Ball Detent, HHS-0134 #1 x 3-1/2" Ball Detent, or a reduced shank driver such as HRS-0110 #1 x 1" Wire Detent or HRS-0120 #1 x 1-15/16" Ball Detent Driver.
