Dewalt DW618 2-1/4 HP Fixed Base Router
If you find yourself needing a bit more power than the Dewalt DW616, an upgrade exists for just a bit higher price point. In this case, the Dewalt DW618 has all of the same features as its slightly smaller brethren, but uses a 2-1/4 HP, 12.0 Amp motor for more ‘oomph’ and an electronic variable speed motor that uses feedback control for more power and control while you’re cutting. Adding to that controllability is a soft start feature to eliminate that start-up torque that wears your wrists out over a lifetime of craftsmanship. Unit has a vacuum adapter size of 1-1/4”. Made in Mexico.
Kit includes: DW818M motor pack, DW6184 fixed base, (1) 1/4” collet, (1) 1/2” collete, sub-base concentricity gauge, (2) wrenches.
