Job-sites often require inconvenient (and that’s a nice way to put it) cuts in tight spots. This Compact Dewalt DW317K Jigsaw allows for easy maneuvering when that’s more important than other considerations. In addition, a keyless blade clamp lets you quickly remove blades without having to ever touch the blade itself. Keep in mind that this is a unit designed with economy and size in mind, so certain features have been sacrificed, most notably a dust blower and a more powerful motor. While not the best choice for extended cuts (mostly because of the ensuing dust build-up), it’s a solid value at its price for smaller jobs. Made in Mexico.
