A powerful 15 Amp motor provides more overload capacity, increasing performance and durability while soft start extends gear and motor life by reducing start up torque for those tough cutting jobs. The patented Quick-Fence(TM) tool-free, 45° adjustable fence allows for fast and accurate angle cuts without using a wrench. No wrenches are needed for blade changes either with the Quick-Change Blade Change System that increases user productivity. In keeping with “fast”, the Quick-Lock Vise allows for fast clamping on different size materials as well. The spindle lock allows user to make wheel changes quickly and easily, saving time and money.
Bolt the unit to your work bench with the four pre-drilled holes in the extra wide body steel base, or carry it to the jobsite by locking the head down with the heavy duty lock pin – no chain required to secure the head. The solid steel base also allows user to weld jigs or stops directly to the base. The large cutting capacity means you can cut up to 5” round or up to 4-1/2” x 6-1/2” rectangle stock. The heavy duty compression spring provides smooth movement and greater durability than torsion springs and the D-handle provides the user a more comfortable hand position for repetitive cuts. An adjustable spark guard channels sparks away from the user. Motor brushes are externally accessible for jobsite replacement.
