      I needed to replace the blade on my 7 1/4" circular saw and discovered the Freud Diablo Finish Blade. I'm very impressed with the cut quality and I tried it on melamine, birch plywood and 2X12 pine. The cut edge of the material is very smooth but the lack of splintering and chip out is what impressed me the most. I use a shop-made guide for my circular saw to help make straight cuts and this blade worked perfectly in my situation. I highly recommend this blade if you are looking to get better, faster cuts from your circular saw.
