How many times have you thought you were drilling a hole perfectly square, only to find that appearances can be deceiving? Sometimes it is easy to fix those mistakes, most times it isn’t. Next time, simply slip this drill guide’s 3/8" shaft into your electric drill, set the angle from 45ø to 90ø, and be confident the hole you drill is at the angle you choose. Fiberglass reinforced body is rugged, yet won’t weigh down your tool box. Vee guides on the base self center round stock for accurate drilling at any angle. Reverse the anchor pins in the base to convert to a 3" capacity self centering edge drilling guide. Includes a 3/8" capacity drill chuck.

Comments about General Adjustable Drill Guide:
Used to drill and place wood balusters for a railing. Makes for accurate 90 degree hole drilling on both on the floor and the railing itself.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Finally one that works!
from NE Pa
The first didn't work at all--the "adaptor" (shaft connecting the chuck to the hand drill) tightened on the platform which moves in a vertical direction. This "tightening" was sufficient to bind the hand drill to stall..or break my wrist! With several phone calls I was able to get a replacemnt from McFeely's which works! In comparison I can see that the collar of the sleeve into which the adaptor fits was not machined to the proper thickness and this caused the binding.
