These waterbased wood stains are among the best I have ever used - oil based, anilines, or anything else. A combination of pigments, dyes, and special additives is used to achieve these deep, rich, lustrous colors. Mix colors together to obtain a custom color, or use the clear stain base as a neutral to lighten a color. Formulated to minimize grain raising tendencies common to water based products. They are easy to use, and can be applied by hand or sprayer. Note that these stains should not be used to tint CrystaLac topcoats. Made in USA.

Comments about Quart CrystaLac Mahogany Stain:
Have brushed, wiped and sprayed these stains with equal success. Great coverage. Good intercoat tone control by applying stain to project areas to deepen or change shading.Would like to see a few more color choices.
