Looking for a waterborne lacquer with the warmth and depth of a nitrocellulose product? Look no further! Not only is it abrasion resistant, it’s self-leveling properties make it easy to use, and an almost imperceptible amber cast gives it the natural look of a traditional lacquer. Three degrees of sheen are available in CrystaLac top coat: Gloss (90), Semi-Gloss (60) and Satin (30). Top coats are compatible with all other CrystaLac products except Floor Finish (Polyurethane). Topcoats should not be tinted. Coverage: approximately 125 square feet per quart. This slow-drying formulation discourages air bubbles from forming during application, and allows any that do form to diffuse on the surface.
Available in Satin, Gloss and Semi-gloss in Quarts and Gallons. Satin Quart is pictured.

Comments about Gallon Satin Brushable CrystaLac:
I took it upon myself to refinish my solid oak- high-end but dated kitchen cabintes. I got behind and felt that I might be in over my head. Cold snowy weather is on its way and that meant the garage was too cold to apply the final finish on the doors- all 26 of them and 12 drawer fronts. Then I saw this product on the website and took a deep breath and ordered 1 gallon of it. WELL- I am so pleased with the smooth self leveling satin finish! I can complete the project in my dining room and not worry about flammable vapors!
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

All Crystalac products are super easy to use. Surface prep doesn't have to be fancy to get a great finish. No odor.NO brushmarks; much easier to apply than polyurethane.Poly-oxide is truly a rock hard finish.Premium and Poly-Oxide can be applied over polyurethane.Recommend at least 3 coats, sanding between 2 & 3rd with 400 grit.I find that 2 coats of satin premium followed by one coat of poly-oxide to be best of all combos. I wait 4 hours between coats.Super easy cleanup.Used 5 gallons to date with not a single problem. What else is there to say.Can not go wrong with this product.
