For a thorough shop cleaning, when used in conjunction with a vacuum it works great to clean up fine woodworking dust from woodworking machines, work benches, and projects. Getting rid of that fine dust results in less dust nibs in finishes! Far better than my old synthetic brush or the vacuum's brush attachment. For general clean up it works great with a dust pan.
