Comments about 2'' x 15 ga. Finish Nails 304 Stainless Steel:
use everywhere, but, new box broke strips in shipping. Also, plastic collating sticks to head and is slightly messy above surface when painted. Will look elsewhere because of box.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

C01-D200 SS finish nails 2
from Rochester, NH
These finish nails made by Simpson Strong are of poor quality compared to the former manufacturer Swan Secure Products. The former stick nails worked great. They would hold together as a stick of nails while loading my Bostich nail gun and the nails would fully penetrate hard wood. These new nails fall apart before I can get them out of the box and I get frequent jams in my nail gun. Never had issue with the former nails. I will not purchase these from McFeeleys again unless they can get me nails from the former manufacturer.
Won't penetrate HardieTrim
from Lillian, AL
About Me Avid Do-It-Yourselfer
The stainless 15GA nails I received are different from the last box I ordered from McFeeley's. The previous box worked very well in 3/4" HardieTrim, with full penetration and only an occasional nail head standing proud. These nails, from Simpson Strong Tie, will not regularly penetrate the material. Same gun; same compressor; different nails. Obviously, I'm disappointed
