Bessey Auto-Adjustable clamps are the best thing since sliced bread – well that may be a stretch but they are a huge improvement over competitor's versions. Auto Adjust toggle clamps automatically adjust to the size of the part which eliminates time consuming manual adjustment of the clamping spindle & improves safety conditions. They have a set and forget feature that results in the same amount of pressure regardless of the thickness of material being clamped. Or you can adjust easily to increase or decrease the amount of pressure needed for the application from 25 to 550 lb. Counter-clockwise rotation will increase the pressure while clockwise rotation will decrease the pressure. Maximum holding capacity is almost 700 lb. The removable plastic clamp pad is 7/8" diameter. The hardened steel body is nickel plated for corrosion resistance and the ergonomic handles are made from polypropylene and thermo-plastic for heat resistance. The base plate holes accommodate M6 or 1/4" fasteners. Imported.
