Three removable pressure pads on the Parallel Clamps resist glue, and slide off for cleaning or replacement as needed. The alloy steel rail is shaped like an I-Beam and keeps things square under pressure. Impact resistant plastic rail protectors keep the work off the rail and isolate the clamped material from the rail which prevents glue stains that can occur when some glue makes contact with steel rails. The rail end clip can be removed so that the jaws can be reversed and used as a spreader. An accessory is available for clamping irregular shapes which pivots 15 degrees to left or right, ideal for tapered parts. The 12” clamp weighs 4.5 lbs, 24” weighs 5.5 lbs and the 31” weighs 6.5 lbs, the 40" clamp weighs 7.30lbs while the 50" clamp weighs 8 lbs. Made in Germany.
