Now you don’t need to choose between the use of fast, efficient collated nails or slower, but more secure, screws for your sub-floors and decks! Just load a strip of these unique steel NailScrews into your nail gun. Asymmetrical threads offer minimal resistance during installation, but provide nearly the same pull-out resistance as the popular deep threaded screws used in self-feed screw guns. The screws have a #2 Square recess so they’re easy to remove if necessary. All NailScrews have blunt tips to prevent splitting and are collated in 20º plastic strips to fit most popular feed framing nailers. Made in Taiwan. Patent Pending.

Comments about UFO Ballistic Nailscrews for Composite Decks:
I bought a box of these to install Trex decking over pressure treated joists. The deck is in two sections, 8x20 and 12x12. I ran out, so just ordered another box. These work as advertised, driving easily from my porter cable nailer. Some don't drive flush, but can be easily pounded flush with a hammer. You CANNOT finish driving them using the square head - they strip - but can be easily removed that way.
